Our latest Haute Mom Club member is Ashley D. is a 25 year old Midwestern girl who loves her life as a wife and stay-at-home mom. She met her husband, Randy, through the small private school they attended. They started dating when she was 17 after several long phone conversations that were meant for her sister, but destined for Ashley. They married a few months after Randy's high school graduation, and set out on the craziest adventure of their young lives. Two years later, their daughter, Emma Grace was born and since then their adventure has been anything but boring.
Ashley has her Associate of Arts degree from a local community college and hopes to return to school once she figures out what she wants to be when she grows up. For now she is perfectly content having tea parties with her daughter, perfecting her not-so-amazing cooking skills, and dreaming of the day when she will own a dryer that actually dries clothes the first time. She has worked as a freelance writer for three different internet companies, and she started blogging a few months ago after a freelance job introduced her to her first blog post. She hopes to use her blog as not only a way to share her adventures with her daughter, but as a voice for other young mothers who often times feel alone in their homemaking and mothering roles. Ashley loves to share her opinion and experiences with the tough issues like divorce, breastfeeding, and trips to the gynecologist, as well as blog about other tough mommy issues like bottle breaking, sleep training, picky eating, and her upcoming adventure: potty training! The lastest Haute Mom's Club member is the author of one of my favorite mommy blogs. Free Sample Momma keeps all haute moms updates with the latest places to get free samples. I mean she is the free sample QUEEN! I have received free samples of anything from detergent to post-its. If a company is giving away a sample, she knows about it. You MUST follow her blog, us moms need all the FREE stuff we can get so that our money can go to haute things like...jeans...shoes...purses...
Free Sample Momma is haute because:
- she knows all things free
- she started her blog in 2009 when she lost her job
- she has two boys, 7 and 12
- she homeschools
- she recently turned the haute age of 40

Kristie from The Decorologist is the newest club member and she is such a HAUTE MOM! She has a decorating blog and her ideas are amazing. When asked what makes her a haute mom, this is what I found out!
1. I have 2 daughters - I homeschool my 5th grader and manage to work about 30 hours a week (a lot of that from home).
2. I changed my profession from psychologist to home stager/decorator at the age of 36.
3. I sponsor (with some girlfriends) a 3rd grade classroom of underprivileged kids in an underprivileged school - we provide them healthy snacks, books, school uniforms, and holiday parties throughout the schoolyear.
4. I try to stay hip and manage to pull off many of the latest styles on a bargain budget (shopping mainly at Target & TJ Maxx).
5. I've been married 15 years and my husband thinks I rock.
