Thrifty Thursday - Clothes For One, Clothes For All!

I have been having a HECK of a time finding pajamas for Stella. All the summer PJ's are out right now but since Stella doesn't sleep with a blanket yet, I am still looking for some lightweight long sleeve pajamas. I have combed store after store and can only find sleepwear that are short sleeve with pants or short sleeve with shorts.

At lunch yesterday, my girlfriend was talking about how addicted she was to some online sites, and it finally hit me that maybe I should try looking online. I went to trusty Old Navy only to be greeted with a wonderful surprise...a Buy One Get One 50% Off Sale! Hurray!

Thrifty Thursday - Summer Sale!

Carter's Summer Sale started today and just in time too! Stella is at that awkward clothes point again where her 9 month size pants look like capris and she is still able to crawl right out of (literally) her 12 month size pants. For some strange reason, ALL of her pajamas are too small, no matter what size! I swear, these brands got together and pulled out some type of sizing consiracy, didn't they?

Anyway, who doesn't love Carters with the cute yet fairly inexpensive children's clother. When it is sale time, you can't beat it! Thrifty Thursday - Big Deal on Big Prints

One thing about the digital world that I have noticed is that it is not always easy to actually get prints of your pictures. It is really nice to have them all on the computer to share with loved ones but the challenge that I have found is that when someone wants a copy, your home printer (even if it is photo quality) doesn’t always do the trick. On top of that, who has time to print out copies of everyone’s favorite picture? I sure don’t and I am sure that most of you haute moms don’t either. Our free time is precious enough!

If you eat as much as I do this Thrifty Thursday will be a real treat for you. Restaurant.com is a site that offers gift certificates to restaurants at discounted prices. Searching a type of food, or specific area will turn up a list of restaurants that meet your criteria and gift certificates for up to 40-50% off. You can buy a $25 gift certificate to your favorite eatery for only $10! If you sign up to be a member, you will even get weekly sale codes where the deal becomes even sweeter; up to $80 off. I bought a $25 gift certificate to our favorite Greek restaurant for $2. What a steal and I don't have too cook!

The only thing to watch is the minimum requirements for the restaurant you select. Some have minimum spending requirements so be sure to read the fine print before you purchase. Have fun haute moms and happy eating!

I haven't posted a Thrifty Thursday in a while because quite frankly, it is hard to find a good deal out there! Has anyone noticed that? With the state of the economy aren't businesses supposed to be giving us deals!? I finally found one that will fit perfectly in with all of you haute moms - Living Social! It allows you to search for cities which also means if you are travaling or doing a Mom's Night Out and want to venture farther, you can find deals outside of your area as well. I searched Orange County, CA deals this morning and found a lot of great stuff for the haute mom like spa treatments at various OC spas for up to 71% off! That's right! A massage for $25 at a ritzy OC spa. They also has hot air balloon rides which I thought would make for a nice gift. It doesn't matter where you live so everyone can join and find a city near you!
